3rd International Philsoc Event

in Trier (Germany), Saturday 17th November 2018

"Time"

The Philosophical Society’s 3rd International event on the topic of Time took place on Saturday 17th November 2018 in Trier, Germany.

The cost was £32 for: the full day of talks, lunch of soup & rolls, unlimited water and apple juice, plus coffee and cake at the afternoon break.

Trier is the oldest town in Germany and the birthplace of Karl Marx. It is renowned for its well preserved Roman and medieval UNESCO world heritage sites, culture, and museums. Our local organiser, Alan Xuereb, and his wife Silke, offered to take those interested on a free guided tour of the main sites on either Friday 16th or Sunday 18th November.

There were optional dinners at traditional restaurants on Friday 16th and Saturday 17th November.
